The Sports Division of the City of Wolfsburg provides financial support to sports clubs on the basis of the current municipal sports funding guidelines.
Grants are awarded if the requirements are met for, among other things:
- Construction, renovation and maintenance of club-owned sports facilities
- New acquisition of sports equipment
- New acquisition of sports field maintenance equipment
- Promotion of exercise activities
- Promotion of children and young people
We will be happy to clarify with you whether your sports club is entitled to sports funding in accordance with the municipal sports funding guidelines.

Sport in all day
We advise sports clubs on the implementation of cooperations with Wolfsburg all-day schools and also support them financially on the basis of the current framework guidelines.
Funding is available for the following areas:
- Subsidy for qualification measures
- Travel allowance for cooperations
- Subsidy for voluntary service in sports
- Subsidy for administrative support of cooperations
- flat-rate subsidy for cooperations
