The history of the allotment garden organization in Wolfsburg goes back to the year 1942. The district federation of Wolfsburg and surroundings was founded in 1948 on the initiative of the then chairman of the allotment garden association "Westersieck", Heinrich Freundlieb, with eight associations from Wolfsburg and 11 from outside.
