You will need the following documents:
- the identity card/passport
- the driver's license and, if applicable, the existing passenger license
- a certificate or expert opinion from an ophthalmologist
- a medical certificate of physical and mental fitness (not older than one year) in accordance with Annex 5 of the Driving License Ordinance (FeV)
- a certificate of good conduct document type 0 (to be applied for at Bürgerdienste, room B 015)
- for applicants over 60 years of age, an additional certificate of physical and mental fitness from a doctor with the title of occupational medicine or the additional title of occupational medicine or from an assessment center for driving aptitude is required.
