Certificate of good conduct

  • General information

There are different types of certificates of good conduct:

Information to a private body: Certificate of good conduct of document type "NB" (for example, for you or your employer). You will receive this certificate of good conduct directly at home.

Information to a public authority (for example, driver's license office, trade office or district government) This certificate of good conduct is sent directly to the authority.

If you need a certificate of good conduct of the document type "OB", we need the exact address of the authority and the purpose of use (e.g. employment, extension of a permit, etc.) when you apply.

Extended certificate of good conduct to an authority: This certificate of good conduct has been issued since 01.05.2010 for persons who work or are to work professionally, voluntarily or in any other way close to children or young people. The application must be submitted with written confirmation from the youth welfare office, for example. This must show that the person requesting the extended certificate of good conduct from the applicant meets the requirements of §30a Para. 2 BZRG.
