An index card transcript is required if a different driver's license office is responsible for a new driver's license (for example, after a move).
In the case of a card driver's license, an index card transcript is not necessary.

Transcript of record from other driving license office:
- Request by citizen = free of charge for us (possibly fees at other driving license office)
- Request by driving license office = free of charge (to be paid at Wolfsburg driving license office)
Dispatch of an index card transcript is made immediately after the request, usually on the same day.
Card transcript can also be requested by phone and faxed to the appropriate municipality upon request.
