Who are we?
We are a registered, non-profit association for the promotion of the Wolfsburg Castle City Museum. It was founded on July 12, 2006 by 30 citizens of Wolfsburg.
What do we want?
The purpose of the association is the idealistic and financial support of the city museum. The aim is to strengthen contacts between the citizens of our city and their museum and to intensify engagement with topics of city and regional history.
Why are we campaigning for this?
We hope to promote Wolfsburg's urban identity and strengthen citizens' ties to their city.

We support the city museum ...
- in collecting and preserving evidence of the history of the city and region of Wolfsburg
- through purchases and special collections
- in the presentation of exhibitions
- in educational work, especially in teaching historical topics to children and young people and in school lessons
- in the planning and implementation of special public events such as seminars or working groups, festivals or concerts
- at museum festivals, excursions and other themed social events for members of the association
Who can become a member?
Any natural or legal person who is prepared to support the objectives of the association.
Annual membership fees:
- Individual members: 20,00 Euro
- Families: 30.00 euros
- Pupils and students: 5.00 euros
