In the background, the online application with the payment confirmation is automatically forwarded to the specialist procedure and can be processed directly here. This shortens processing times.

In the case of automated queries such as information from the population register, you even receive the required information in digital form directly after payment.

How exactly does the electronic payment process work at the City of Wolfsburg?

The City of Wolfsburg uses the electronic payment platform pmPayment of the company GovConnect GmbH. To use e-payment, you need an active user account with PayPal or a valid Visa or MasterCard. If your credit institution supports giropay, you can also pay with giropay via your online banking access.

1. forwarding to the payment platform

As part of the online application, you will be redirected to the so-called paypage of the payment platform. Here, your personal data and the payment information from the requested service are already pre-filled.

2. select payment method

As you know it from many online sales platforms, you select the payment method. For payment, you will be redirected to the page of the respective payment provider, for example Paypal. Here you log in with your known access data.

3. payment confirmation

If the payment was successful, you will receive a confirmation. Depending on the settings you have chosen, you may also receive a payment confirmation from the payment provider. You will then either receive the requested information directly online or you can end the process as soon as you are shown that your online application has been successfully forwarded to the City of Wolfsburg for processing.
