Many factors play a role in choosing the right school for your child. In Wolfsburg, you have a free choice of school within the city area - this applies to primary and secondary schools. The schools have different focuses and profiles. It is therefore advisable to inform yourself about several schools.
Your child can only be enrolled in one school.
If there are more applications than school places at a school, the places are allocated by drawing lots. This is a legal requirement under the Lower Saxony School Act. The school management is responsible for the implementation.
In addition, a waiting list with a fixed order is drawn by lot. If a school place is not taken up, the pupils on the waiting list move up in the order drawn.
If your child does not receive a place at the desired school due to the drawing of lots, please choose another school in Wolfsburg with free places immediately after receiving the cancellation.
