1) How do I find the right school for my child?
Many factors play a role in choosing the right school for your child. In Wolfsburg, you have a free choice of school within the city area - this applies to primary and secondary schools. The schools have different focuses and profiles. It is therefore advisable to inform yourself about several schools.
-
2) Can I enroll my child in more than one school at the same time?
Your child can only be enrolled in one school.
-
3) My child did not get a place at the chosen school. What happens next? (lottery procedure)
If there are more applications than school places at a school, the places are allocated by drawing lots. This is a legal requirement under the Lower Saxony School Act. The school management is responsible for the implementation.
In addition, a waiting list with a fixed order is drawn by lot. If a school place is not taken up, the pupils on the waiting list move up in the order drawn.
If your child does not receive a place at the desired school due to the drawing of lots, please choose another school in Wolfsburg with free places immediately after receiving the cancellation.More information on this topic:
3 a) Pupils:inside with application for exemption by lot:
