Neuhaus Castle is one of the best-preserved castles in northern Germany. In the castle museum, a branch of the city museum in the M2K and run by a highly committed support association, original exhibits and models tell of the medieval foundation of the complex, the life of the knights here and the development of the former Neuhaus office. In public guided tours, rallies and special events, the history of the construction and development of this Wolfsburg monument is presented to visitors in a knowledgeable and interactive way.
In the museum in the round tower, which was opened in 1986, the history of the castle and the former Neuhaus office is brought to life again on an area of 48 square meters. Since the beginning of August 2003, the museum has been run on a voluntary basis by the "Freundeskreis Burg Neuhaus e. V.".

As an extracurricular place of learning, the Friends of Neuhaus Castle and the museum education service of the town museum in the M2K offer themed tours on life and everyday life in the Middle Ages for school classes of all types and grades as well as for daycare groups.
