The Music School of the City of Wolfsburg maintains a close network of cooperation in the regional and national cultural scene. It can look back on many years of successful cooperation with a wide variety of cultural education institutions.
In June 2002, the Kontaktstelle Musik in Wolfsburg was founded with the cooperation of the music school. With this initiative, the Music School of the City of Wolfsburg would also like to promote the networking of local culture and act as a meeting point for music culture in Wolfsburg.

The purpose of the association is to promote music education by providing financial, material and other support to the music school of the city of Wolfsburg.
Music school work needs strong and committed partners and friends to support it materially and ideally. As friends and sponsors, the educational and cultural mission of the music school is close to our hearts. Our members, through their membership, and our friends and supporters, through their donations, are committed to maintaining a strong, creative and well-equipped music school in the city of Wolfsburg.
We use our funds, which we receive from membership fees, donations and third-party funding from foundations, primarily for...- ... the purchase of instruments and teaching materials, ...
- ... the financial support of music school projects such as music camps, ensemble events and trips as well as CD productions, ...
- ... the subsidization of further training events and other support measures for music students and teachers.
The association also supports concerts and other cultural events at the music school.
As an association with a long tradition, we have long been committed to the interests of music school work. The association emerged in 2006 from the previously independent "Musikschul-Förderverein Fallersleben e.V." and the "Freundeskreis der Musikschule der Stadt Wolfsburg e. V." and has been supporting the entire music school work of the city of Wolfsburg's music school ever since.
Our association is recognized as a non-profit organization by the Gifhorn tax office. Membership fees are tax-deductible and we are happy to issue tax receipts for donations.
The family membership fee is 20.00 euros/year and includes the spouse and all children living in the family up to the age of 26, provided they are in education. The is a professional and supporting association of currently 79 music schools in Lower Saxony, which are members of the Association of German Music Schools (VdM). It strives for the cooperation of all forces active in the establishment, maintenance and promotion of music schools and thus contributes to the promotion and development of instrumental and vocal music making and music education.
