The pedagogical quality is guaranteed by the qualified teachers, who teach with competence and commitment and also have an impact on the city as musicians. The offer ranges from Musikgarten to elementary education for 4 to 6-year-olds to senior citizens. Specialized lessons, individually or in groups, are offered for almost all instruments. In around 20 orchestras, bands and ensembles, both vocal and instrumental, like-minded people can come together, rehearse together and celebrate success on stage.

Situation of the music school In addition to the traditional core area of the music school, which comprises a total of around 1,400 pupils in almost all instruments, the traditional elementary area has shifted to the area of afternoon care. The "supervised pupils" in our cooperations are becoming increasingly important. Around 750 additional pupils are looked after here by our teachers. Pupil numbers are stable, but need to be developed and maintained with commitment.
