Wolfsburg is a young and particularly dynamic city, and yet in many places in the city it breathes an extremely exciting history that often goes back centuries

All three museums are housed in beautifully restored historic buildings. They are modern facilities and diversely and imaginatively designed.

In addition to their permanent exhibitions, they offer a wide range of special exhibitions and events (see current program).

  We invite you to a historical tour in and around the medieval castle complex Schloss Wolfsburg. Walk with us through the gardens of Wolfsburg Castle. Take a look behind the scenes of the Wolfsburg Castle Municipal Museum. Linger in the stately garden hall.

• Children's birthdays

  Children can celebrate their birthday in the beautiful ambience of Wolfsburg Castle. They can learn more about the history of the castle's construction and inhabitants, as well as the history of the city, in an entertaining and informative way. There are a variety of activities on offer, including guided tours of the castle in ghost costumes, costumed journeys through time and medieval rallies - including a treasure hunt. Birthday children can also learn about the young city of Wolfsburg and its specific development at the city museum.

• Support association city museum

  We are a registered, non-profit association for the promotion of the City Museum Wolfsburg Castle. It was founded on July 12, 2006 by 30 citizens of Wolfsburg.
