We train young people and pupils at various schools in Wolfsburg to become mediators, arbitrators and conflict controllers.

Target group:

School refusal - The 2nd chance

2 to 16-year-olds who jeopardize their school-leaving qualifications by actively or passively refusing to go to school. Truancy is active truancy. Passive truancy is the massive disruption of lessons or refusal to cooperate.

Offers:

  • Communication and conflict training
  • Exercise and nutrition course "Eating is fun"
  • Capoeira course
  • Animal-assisted education
  • Group camps at the riding stables
  • Summer vacation in Tuscany/Italy
  • Study groups
  • Girls' group
  • Soccer fan group

The aim of the programs is to

the reintegration of pupils into the mainstream school system

  • to support young people in developing their strengths
  • to support and encourage parents in educational issues and
  • the networking of existing services

NiKo project

This promotes cooperation between schools and youth welfare services and other cooperation partners in order to improve the development opportunities of at-risk young people in socially deprived areas in particular.
Stressful family situations and parenting problems lead to difficult life situations for children and young people, and educational partnerships between schools and youth welfare services and schools and parents can offer support, help and possible solutions.

Objectives:
  • Networking youth welfare services and schools with the involvement of families
  • Development of educational partnerships
  • Reduction of educational disadvantages and educational deficits
  • Promotion of educational, parenting and health skills
  • Social integration of young people at risk in socially deprived areas
