Foreign language job counseling

The CheckPoint is an unbureaucratic advice center for support in German, Arabic, English and French with job searches, applications, filling out forms, telephone conversations, questions and appointments with authorities, social institutions and translations.

You can get help and information in a familiar environment, without obligation, free of charge and without registering. Children are welcome to come along for advice.

Friends of Westhagen

The Friends of Westhagen citizens' committee is the central committee in the district and decides on applications submitted to the Westhagen citizens' fund. The meetings are open to the public.

Members should either be citizens of Westhagen or be involved in and for Westhagen outside the committee. A membership application form can be collected, completed and submitted at the district office.

NetworkCulture

The successor to the Cultural Advisory Board deals with matters relating to the KulturHaus Westhagen. Anyone who would like to get involved with the KulturHaus can join. Network meetings are held regularly. In addition, topic-focused working groups can be formed for specific projects as required.

IG Children and Youth
Representatives of Westhagen's facilities for children and young people meet regularly to exchange information and implement smaller projects.

Editorial group for the Westhagen district newspaper
The group meets several times a year to discuss the next issue. Various tasks can be taken on, such as writing articles, proofreading, layout and so on.

The city of Wolfsburg provides the Bürgerfonds-Westhagen to finance smaller social projects that benefit Westhagen and the local people and strengthen neighborly cooperation between citizens.
