Construction site access road

If access to a construction site requires driving over sidewalks, this is subject to approval. In these cases, builders/construction companies should informally register the construction measure with the responsible road supervisor.

An overpass usually requires a construction site in the private sector. As a general rule, vehicles over 11.5 tons standard axle load are not allowed to drive over the sidewalks. In some areas it is also less.

The crossings are to be applied for informally. The application is made by the road authorities.
