General information
A vehicle is to be registered which has not been in operation for more than 7 years. The deletion of all vehicle data took place according to legal requirements and a re-registration is necessary.
As a rule, all vehicle documents are available and the vehicle can be re-registered on the basis of these.
Please note that vehicles that were deregistered before October 2005 do not have a vehicle registration document, but a so-called deregistration certificate. This must also be presented when registering the vehicle.
It is possible to assign a license plate of your choice to the vehicle for a fee - provided that the license plate is free and available. Information on availability and possible license plate combinations can be found on the Internet at " Wunschkennzeichen - Online".
