Driving license renewal / reissue of classes C, CE, D, DE

You will need the following documents:

• the identity card/passport
• a current passport photo (see )
• a certificate or expert opinion from an ophthalmologist (not older than two years)
• a certificate of participation in a first aid training course
• a medical certificate of physical and mental fitness (not older than one year) in accordance with Annex 5 of the German Driving Licensing Regulations (FeV)
• a certificate from a doctor with the title of occupational medicine or the additional title of occupational medicine or a certificate from an assessment center for driving aptitude regarding physical and mental aptitude (not older than one year)
• a certificate of good conduct, document type 0 (to be applied for in Bürgerdienste room B 015 - only for classes D and DE)
• a copy of the index card, if the last driving license was issued by a foreign authority
• if applicable, the original of the foreign driver's license with translation

Auf dem Flur im EG des Rathauses B der Stadt Wolfsburg steht ein Ausweisterminal zur Verfügung. Sie können hier Ihre biometrischen Daten:

• Foto
• Unterschrift

für Ausweise, Pässe und Führerscheine selbst erfassen. Das spart Aufwand und Kosten für die Beschaffung seines biometrischen Passfotos. Nach der Erfassung ist die Dokumentenbeantragung am Schalter fortzuführen. Das Entgelt für die Erfassung der Daten beträgt 6,00 Euro und wird zusammen mit der zu entrichtenden Gebühr für die Dokumentenbeantragung bei der Antragstellung am Schalter erhoben. 

Bitte beachten Sie, dass die erfassten Daten ausschließlich für die Beantragung eines Personalausweises, eines Reisepasses oder eines Führerscheins genutzt werden können.
