Severely disabled parking permit orange

  • General information

There are three different parking permits for severely disabled persons, which include different rights.

    The orange parking permit:

    • does not entitle the holder to park in parking spaces for the severely disabled
    • entitles the holder to park in the areas listed under "Other information
    • valid throughout Germany

  • Requirements

    • Signs G and B and a degree of disability of at least 70 solely for functional disorders of the lower limbs (and the lumbar spine, insofar as these affect the ability to walk) and at the same time a degree of disability of at least 50 for functional disorders of the heart or respiratory organs,
    • people suffering from Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis if they have a degree of disability of at least 60.
    • artificial bowel outlet and artificial urinary diversion, if the degree of disability is at least 70.

Please note: It is not enough to have a disability pass with the G and B markings and a degree of disability of 80 percent, for example. The relevant notification from the Lower Saxony State Office must be used to check whether the percentages are made up as described above.
