Foreign driving licenses (not EU-card driving licenses) are only valid for 6 months for driving in Germany.
The residence must be in Wolfsburg and the foreign driver's license must still be valid.

for ID cards, passports and driver's licenses yourself. This saves effort and costs for obtaining his biometric passport photo. After capturing, the document application must be continued at the counter. The fee for capturing the data is 6.00 euros and will be charged together with the fee payable for the document application at the counter.
Please note that the data collected can only be used to apply for an identity card, passport or driver's license.
43.90 euros as a rule (If the probationary period has not yet expired, the amount increases to 44.70 euros).
From the date of registration of residence in Germany, citizens have 6 months to have their driver's license transferred. After this period, the foreign driver's license loses its validity.
