The Mobility Stations project deals with the spatial bundling of mobility offers and supplementary services. By linking mobility services in one place and adding further services, the aim is to make journeys more efficient for citizens and alternatives to using their own car more attractive . Mobility services such as car, train, bus, bicycle and e-scooter are bundled at the so-called 'mobiSTATIONS' and equipped with additional services such as electric charging infrastructure, bicycle service stations, bicycle and cargo bike parking, water dispensers and seating. The mobility stations also support new mobility services such as car and bike sharing. Attractive surface design contributes to the upgrading of spaces and neighborhoods. The 'mobiSTATIONEN' will initially be set up at four to five pilot locations in Wolfsburg at highly visible and attractively designed sites.
