The return of borrowed media is basically possible in the entire system. In addition, the library card is necessary for the use of the Onleihe, the various databases (Munzinger, Library Press Display, etc.) and the interlibrary loan, through which we can provide you with media from other libraries that cannot be found in the media stock of the Wolfsburg City Library. In the case of late return of borrowed media or in the case of their loss, all users must pay binding late fees, damages or other special user fees.

You can reserve media that are on loan and have them brought to a library location of your choice within Wolfsburg: online (online catalog, by e-mail, by phone, or directly at all library system locations from library staff. You will also need a valid BildungshausCard and, in addition, your personal password to book online. You can find out the preset password on site at the respective locations, where you can also have it changed individually. You will be notified as soon as your desired medium is available at the desired location, where you can then pick it up within a total of 5 working days. A fee of 1.00 Euro is due upon pickup.

  Individual groups with special usage needs, such as study groups and study groups, also receive individual loan periods by arrangement.

You can extend the loan period of your borrowed media a total of two times on site or by telephone on 05361 28-2530, by e-mail to stadtbibliothek@bildungshaus-wolfsburg.de or via the online catalog, provided they have not been pre-ordered by other users. You should do this before the loan period expires, otherwise a late fee will be due on the first opening day after the loan period expires.
