User fees, late fees and other fees for reservation, interlibrary loan and Internet use

Usage:

• Annual fee (year of use): 24,00 Euro
• Annual fee for partners (year of use): 36,00 Euro
• Monthly fee (month of use): 5,00 Euro
• Student card: 10,00 Euro
• Student card for pupils (including vocational school students) from the age of 21: 10,00 Euro

Reservations:

• per media unit: 1,00 Euro

Media transport:

Transport of media from the holdings of the public library to another branch for lending there

• 3,00 Euro per transport and 2,00 Euro per media unit (including reservation fee).
  

• 2,00 Euro per media unit - plus the costs charged by the foreign library, if applicable.

Exemption from fees:

• Adolescents up to the age of 21.
• Wolfsburg Card holders (recipients of the following current benefits: Unemployment benefit II or social benefit II according to the German Social Code (SGB); basic security, assistance for living, integration assistance or assistance for care according to SGB XII; child and youth welfare (SGB VIII); the Asylum Seekers' Benefits Act (AsylbLG); the Housing Allowance Act).
• Holders of the Ehrenamtskarte or Juleica (honorary work card)
• Federal volunteers, volunteers in the FSJ, FKJ, FÖJ, etc.
• Non-profit institutions serving social, cultural, scientific or educational purposes
• Official use by employees of the city administration

Special user fees (late fees):

Exceeding the loan period up to

• 1 week per media unit: adults: 1.00 Euro ; minors: 0.50 Euro

• 2 weeks per media unit: adults: 2.00 euros; minors: 1.00 euros

• 3 weeks per media unit: Adults: 3.00 Euro ; Minors: 1.50 Euro

• 4 weeks per media unit: Adults: 4,00 Euro ; Minors: 2,00 Euro

• 5 weeks per media unit: Adults: 5,00 Euro ; Minors: 2,50 Euro

• Processing fee for notification of service: 10.00 EUR

• Replacement of the same media units that were borrowed from the City Library or used in the library. If replacement is not possible, the purchase value must be replaced in cash or the costs for the procurement of a comparable medium must be borne. For media of antiquarian value, the cost of replacement will be calculated and charged.

Damage, removal or loss of supplements (e.g. CD supplements, CD-ROMs, maps, game pieces) or packaging:

Damage to or removal of the IT booking numbers/RFID labels:

• EUR 3.00 plus the procurement price for the label as announced on the notice board

Creation of a replacement ID card after loss or damage

• 3.00 Euro plus the procurement price for the replacement ID card as announced on the notice board
  A processing fee of 3.00 euros will be charged for each medium that is liable for damages
