Archival of the month

Going on a search, following the traces of history, unearthing new sources in remote places, interpreting them and wresting explanations for past events from them - all this is what makes historical research so fascinating. Municipal archives offer a wide range of sources for this purpose: In addition to official documents, there are maps and plans, photos, newspaper articles, films and audio documents. All of these things tell the story of the town and the people who live in it.
