Culture and school
Cultural education is an indispensable part of lifelong learning. It is fun, creates unusual experiences and opportunities for exploratory learning and creative discovery. Children and young people in Wolfsburg use all their senses and curiosity to take advantage of the many opportunities offered by active engagement with music, history, sport and games, dance, theater, visual arts, photography and film, for example.
We learn in museums, in the theater, during leisure activities or sports as well as at school or in the new media. Cultural education is a lifelong process that does not only take place as learning in educational institutions, but can take place anywhere. It opens up new ways of understanding the world, promotes creativity, innovative thinking and the combination of imagination, experience and knowledge.
