For children/families

At the Wolfsburg Castle City Museum, parents and children can learn interesting facts about Wolfsburg's history. In the interactive exhibition, families learn about the region, history, the city and Wolfsburg Castle with all their senses and in an entertaining way. The Wolfsburg Castle City Museum features a stuffed wolf, a knight's armor, everyday objects from the 1950s and 1960s and an old hairdressing salon. Remnants of earlier uses of the castle remise (old farm building) such as the defense tower, a toilet and horse troughs have also been integrated into the exhibition.

Parents and children can experience the history of Wolfsburg up close at audio stations and with the help of eyewitness accounts. In addition to the permanent exhibition, the Stadtmuseum Schloss Wolfsburg also presents special exhibitions, concerts, educational offers such as guided tours for children and much more. Children's birthday parties are also offered.

You can buy tickets for the Wolfsburg City Museum directly on site. The prices are as follows:

Adults: 3.50 euros
Reduced: 2,50 Euro
Family ticket: 8.00 euros (valid for 2 adults and up to 4 children)
Children up to 6 years: free of charge
Pensioners and senior citizens: 3.00 euros

Special events: Admission fees are charged for some special events, such as public tours of the castle, and these are announced in advance.

Group tours:
- Guided tours for regional educational institutions are free of charge.
- Guided tours for external educational institutions (up to 30 persons): 55,00 Euro
- Privately registered tours, children's birthday parties and events per group (up to 20 persons): 55,00 Euro
The above rates refer to approximately one-hour guided tours, educational programs, children's birthday parties and events.

For corresponding offers of other duration or combined programs, as well as for larger groups, the following fees are charged:
- Short tours up to 30 minutes: 30,00 Euro
- Duration of the event from one to two hours: 110,00 Euro
- Duration of the event from two to three hours: 165,00 Euro
- Group sizes from 21 to 40 persons: 100,00 Euro
- Group sizes from 41 to 70 persons: 150,00 Euro
A booked program can be cancelled 24 hours before the respective date, otherwise a cancellation fee of half of the actual fee will be charged.
In addition to the actual fees, a flat fee may be charged for work/craft materials.
