Possibilities and basics of BürgerMitWirkung in Wolfsburg
Wolfsburg sees the participation of its citizens as an important prerequisite for a sustainable and citizen-friendly city. For this reason, the city, politicians and interested citizens developed the "BürgerMitWirkung Wolfsburg concept" back in 2015, which regulates processes, rights, duties and responsibilities that go beyond the legally prescribed participation procedures. In this way, the participation of all citizens is given greater weight in forming opinions on municipal policy projects.
