The wolf is Wolfsburg's heraldic animal and thus the city's ambassador. Its striking posture expresses a sense of belonging and community, self-confidence and pride. Because of this, it appears on every marketing tool of Wolfsburg - no matter if it is about internal or external communication of the city.
