Voting for the Sportswoman, Sportsman and Team of the Year 2024 has started! From 19 December to 16 January, all citizens have the opportunity to vote for their favorites at wolfsburg.de/sportlerehrung.

The following athletes have been nominated:

Sportswoman of the year

• Laura Burbulla (athletics, VfL Wolfsburg e.V.)
• Sarah Ischt (Judo, VfL Wolfsburg e.V.)
• Nele Jaworski (athletics, VfL Wolfsburg e.V.)

Sportsman of the year

• Phil Grolla (athletics, VfL Wolfsburg e.V.)
• Mika Noodt (Triathlon, VfL Wolfsburg e.V.)
• Matthias Schlitte (Armwrestling, VfL Wolfsburg e.V.)

Team of the year

• Bowling Ladies VfL Wolfsburg e.V.
• VfL Wolfsburg women's soccer
• Bowling club Wolfsburg e.V.

All participants have the opportunity to win attractive prizes:

1st prize: A family ticket (two adults, two children) for the municipal outdoor pools (Fallersleben outdoor pool and VW pool).

2nd prize: A family ticket for the municipal indoor pools (Heiligendorf teaching pool and Sandkamp indoor pool).

3rd prize: A season ticket for one adult for the outdoor pools.

Special prize: Two tickets to the award ceremony for the winners on May 16 at 7 p.m. in Wolfsburg Castle.

The draw for the winners will take place on January 17, after which the winners will be notified by email.
