Natura 2000

Documents for the current security procedures of the city of Wolfsburg

Natura 2000 is an EU-wide network of protected areas. It is made up of the bird protection areas in accordance with Directive 2009/147/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of November 30, 2009 on the conservation of wild birds and the protected areas of the Fauna-Flora-Habitat (FFH) Directive 92/43/EEC of the Council of May 21, 1992 on the conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora.

There are three FFH and three bird sanctuaries in Wolfsburg. It is the task of the lower nature conservation authority to permanently secure, maintain and develop these areas. The first step is to designate the registered areas as nature conservation areas. On this page you will find

  • The documents relating to the newly designated nature conservation areas:
Ordinance text, maps, the reasons for the ordinance and the consideration of the objections received.
  • Anyone whose interests are affected by the designation of the nature conservation area can submit objections to the City of Wolfsburg in writing or for recording up to two weeks after the end of the display period (objection period).
The City of Wolfsburg hereby informs you that, in accordance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR), personal data such as name, address data and e-mail address will be used and stored for the statutory documentation and information obligations when comments are submitted.
