Citizens' expertise needed for Dunantplatz

Dunantplatz in Wolfsburg is to be redesigned. This was decided by Wolfsburg City Council last year. The planning process, which is now underway, must take into account the diverse functional requirements on the one hand and appreciate the special design from the time when the district was created on the other. The city's citizens are to be actively involved as experts in the planning of the square on Röntgenstrasse in Wolfsburg's Eichelkamp district and develop ideas together.
Supported by the Citizen Participation Office, a workshop will take place on Friday, March 7, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the parish hall of the Heilig-Geist-Kirche, to which all interested citizens are invited. In order to be able to plan the event better, the city asks for registration in advance by telephone (05361) 28-1611 or by e-mail to sonderplanungen@stadt.wolfsburg.de.
In addition to the opportunity to make direct contact with the commissioned landscape architecture firm Rehwaldt at the workshop, comments on the design of the square can also be submitted easily online from February 25 to March 24 at www.wolfsburg/dunantplatz.
