Lord Mayor Dennis Weilmann, Sports Committee Chairman Robin Scheil and Deputy Chairman Ralf Mühlisch presented the awards and expressed their appreciation to the athletes. The event was hosted by Axel Piepers, Head of the Sports Department at the City of Wolfsburg.

Lord Mayor Dennis Weilmann emphasized: "The achievements of these young athletes deserve the highest recognition. They have achieved impressive successes with great ambition and perseverance. My special thanks also go to the families of the honorees, the Wolfsburg sports clubs and the many dedicated coaches who have supported their sporting development with their commitment. I am convinced that many of those honored today will continue on their successful path in sport and will also celebrate many successes as adults."

Axel Piepers added: "Today's awards show the enormous potential of Wolfsburg's sporting landscape. It is impressive to see how our young athletes continue to develop with passion and discipline. This event should not only give them recognition, but also motivate them to continue pursuing their sporting goals."
