Certificates from the register of births, marriages or deaths
If you require certificates from the register of births, marriages or deaths, you can obtain these from us, provided the civil status case was recorded at the Wolfsburg registry office.
The documents can only be issued to persons to whom the entry relates, as well as their spouses, ancestors and descendants or persons authorized to do so by the entitled person.
It is possible for birth certificates to be requested in writing (by post) or by telephone and sent to citizens by post. In this case, payment is made by bank transfer in advance. Once payment has been received, the certificates will be sent by post worldwide without any additional charge.
The service is made available to you via the online town hall of the city of Wolfsburg. Registration or login to the Lower Saxony service account is required for the digital application.
