Weapons
The term weapons includes not only firearms, but also portable objects such as knives or batons.
In addition to weapons requiring a permit, such as small-caliber firearms for sport shooting or firearms for hunting, there are also weapons that are exempt from registration, whereby only the acquisition and possession are exempt from registration.

Weapons that are exempt from registration include alarm, irritant and signal weapons with the registration mark "PTB in a circle", compressed air and spring-loaded weapons with the registration mark "F in a pentagon" or prima facie weapons, telescopic batons and one-handed knives.
To carry the registration-free alarm, irritant and signal weapons, i.e. the "Beisichtragen" outside of your own home, you need a small arms license.
