Allersee

The Allersee was created in 1969 as part of the relocation of the Aller and was deepened again in 1987. The Allersee stretches between the Mittelland Canal and the Aller. It is 1230 m long, 270 m wide and has a water volume of around 1 million m³. The surface area of the lake is 29 hectares.

The Allersee is primarily a bathing lake with attractive sandy beaches. However, water sports enthusiasts - canoeists, rowers and sailors - also use the lake for their sport and have built their clubhouses on the lake. However, a permit is required to use the lake with boats.

The Allersee regulations govern the operation of the lake and can be viewed at the City of Wolfsburg's Green Division.

The Allerpark Wolfsburg offers sports enthusiasts a wide range of activities - from water sports to soccer, ice hockey and skating. With its 130 hectares, there is guaranteed to be something for everyone. You can also relax in the sun, have a relaxing coffee or enjoy the sunset in the evening. Discover this beautiful leisure and recreation park for yourself.

The Allersee, which was built in 1969, forms the origin and center of the park and has become a magnet for water sports enthusiasts. Since the 1990s, the Allerpark has developed into a public theme park with the help of the EU and the state of Lower Saxony.

The extensive recreational area stretches from the Mittelland Canal to the Aller, which gives the park its name.

Wolfsburg Castle is also not far away. The Autostadt is also not far away.

The attractions around the Allersee attract numerous visitors all year round. Wolfsburg's water sports clubs are also based here.

Free parking spaces and good public transport connections make arrival and departure very easy.
