The Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg was opened in 1994 and can already look back on an illustrious history with a large number of authoritative exhibitions and events. Supported by the Holler Foundation, the museum is dedicated to contemporary and modern art.

The Kunstverein Wolfsburg was founded in 1959. It is the city's oldest art institution and also its most avant-garde. In the historic ambience of the coach houses, between ramparts and half-timbering, it presents castle, regional and city history in hundreds of original exhibits, from the foundation pile of Wolfsburg Castle to the complete hairdressing salon of the 1950s.

The Städtische Galerie Wolfsburg is an institution for contemporary art in the magnificent Renaissance building of Wolfsburg Castle. Since art suggests alternatives and helps to understand the increasingly complex problems of reality, the Städtische Galerie Wolfsburg represents a forum from which forward-looking stimuli emanate.
