A wooden bridge in the eastern part of Allerpark will be completely renewed from July 1. As part of its regular inspections, the city of Wolfsburg has discovered that the decking and railings of the structure are suffering from acute fungal infestation, which requires immediate action. The bridge will be repaired to ensure that it remains safe for traffic. This will involve dismantling the old railings and the old decking and replacing them with new railings and new wooden decking. The work is expected to take three weeks. During this period, the bridges will have to be completely closed. The city asks for your understanding for the temporary restrictions.
