Environment Day - Review
City welcomes many visitors
Many Wolfsburg residents took advantage of Environment Day on June 8 to visit the stands of local stakeholders offering a wide range of information and advice. Anyone who wanted to could, for example, take home native shrubs for their own garden, saved food or small insect hotels. Children had lots of fun making seed balls, seed observation jars, small mosaic stones or other things and discovering environmental topics in a playful way.
Councillor Andreas Bauer: "The pleasingly good attendance at our event shows how important environmental and climate protection issues are to the people of Wolfsburg. We are very pleased about this. This is precisely where we must continue to work together, as reflected in the motto of Wolfsburg's Environment Day: All a little, together a lot."
