WVG bus on Wolfsburg's roads

Flexible service expands public transport offering

It's on the road in Wolfsburg from today: the WVG bus! The two new all-electric midi buses can be booked online and expand the public transport service. The WVG bus offers Wolfsburg residents and guests flexible travel within Zone 20 and can be used with normal tickets.
Presentation of the new WVG offer

"The WVG bus will play an important role in the expansion of mobility services in Wolfsburg. By adding individual solutions to the existing local public transport system, gaps in service can be closed, public transport will be strengthened and citizens will gain flexibility. At the same time, our districts will also be more reliably connected to the city center," says Lord Mayor Dennis Weilmann.

These are the timetables for the WVG bus:

  • Monday to Friday: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Friday to Saturday: 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Saturday to Sunday: 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.

Supplement to the regular timetable

The WVG bus takes the regular timetable into account when operating. This means that bookings are only possible if no bus line is running on the same route at the same time. In such a case, the regular route will be suggested. The WVG Bus can be booked via the WVG Bus app in the usual app stores. Alternatively, bookings can also be made by telephone at 05361896767.
