Wolfsburg Cartoon Film Festival
Children are familiar with animated films from a wide variety of media channels and are very enthusiastic about their media heroes. But can children also create animated films themselves? Every two years, the Bildungshaus Wolfsburg awards the Golden Wolf. Daycare centers, elementary school, educators, teachers and families are invited to take part in the competition and submit their own small productions. The public award ceremony will take place on Saturday, November 23 at 10 a.m. in the Delphin-Palast. This event is a highlight of the festival and offers a unique opportunity to recognize the outstanding talents and creative works of young filmmakers. The animated film festival in 2024 runs under the motto Fairy Tales and Magic. The young filmmakers had until October 18 to submit their films to the Bildungshaus Wolfsburg.
The Golden Wolf is awarded in the categories daycare center, elementary school, Quali-Team and Family & Friends. Of the 35 animated films submitted, 14 productions have been nominated. This year, for the first time, the award ceremony and the presentation of the 35 productions will be open to the public. The public award ceremony not only offers the opportunity to see the films, but also to meet the young artists in person. All interested parties are cordially invited to attend this special event and celebrate the magic of animated film. Admission is free.
