Procedural guides support families
Children, adolescents and young people with (potential) disabilities and their families are often faced with complex questions. What benefits am I entitled to? Where do I submit an application? What do I do if my application is rejected? This is where the free, voluntary and independent advice offered by the Verfahrenslotsen Wolfsburg comes in. They support young people up to the age of 27 and their families on all aspects of integration assistance in accordance with Social Code IX and Section 35a of Social Code VIII.
Procedural guides help, for example, to clarify benefit entitlements, provide support with the application process, accompany people to appointments and help with rejections or appeals. The aim is to guide families through the complex process and offer them the support they need.
