Since June 2, 2020, it has been possible in Wolfsburg to obtain simple information about a person registered in Wolfsburg online (OLMERA). This requires clear identification of the person in question. The information includes the surname, first name, the currently stored address and possibly the doctor's degree. If the person you are looking for has moved or died within the last 5 years, this information will also be provided. There is a fee for retrieving information from the population register, which must be paid online in advance. This fee is also payable if the person you are looking for cannot be found, for example because they have not lived in Wolfsburg for more than 5 years, the spelling was incorrect or there is an information block. If the online registration information has not been successful, a written request can be sent to the Citizens' Services of the City of Wolfsburg, as before, but this will again be subject to a fee.
