The daycare center (Kita) is located in the new Steimker Gärten district, between Steimker Berg and Nordsteimke. Up to 113 children between the ages of 1 and 6 can attend the facility.

At the Steimker Gärten daycare center, everything is geared towards the children, but due to its unique location in the middle of the Wolfsburg senior citizens' quarter, it is important to us to live a good life together. Diverse contacts between the generations, experiencing the world together in amazement, traveling through time with pictures and stories and creating new friendships is a core element of the concept.

We work in an open concept according to the Early Excellence approach. This allows each child to unfold freely and develop according to their strengths and talents. We endeavor to adapt the rooms to the needs of the children so that the functional areas offer optimal learning and development opportunities for all children. The caregivers accompany the children and their families throughout their time at the kindergarten and are always on hand with help and advice. We see ourselves as an important part of the neighborhood and enjoy being part of life there.

The daycare center (Kita) in der City is located in the heart of the city of Wolfsburg. Up to 113 children between the ages of 1 and 6 can attend the facility.

Life in the city is diverse: whether it's the town hall, theater, museum, park or weekly market - there are many meeting places in the city. Some places are bustling with life, others offer peace and quiet. Children grow up in the city. It is their immediate living environment and therefore a place where they can experience their first steps in development and education. We use the central location in the city for our daily work in the daycare center and explore the many facets of city life together with your child.

The daycare center behind the gardens is located in the district of Kästorf. 125 children between the ages of 0 and 6 can attend the facility.

We live cultural diversity

The individuality of each child determines the educational work and is also a child's right. The right to uniqueness and other UN children's rights such as the right to care, health, education and the right to play unite cultures around the world and are integrated into the daily routine at our daycare center.

Language is fundamental to cooperation and learning. At the Kita hinter den Gärten, children are strengthened in their mother tongue and multilingualism is promoted.

Our facility

The daycare center behind the gardens offers space for 75 crèche and 50 kindergarten children. Children under the age of one are lovingly cared for in two nest groups. The daycare center (Kita) is located in the Hellwinkel district, between the city center and the Reislingen district. Up to 123 children between the ages of 1 and 6 can attend the facility.

At the Kita Campus Hellwinkel, the children are greeted by moving elements as soon as they start their mornings. The corridors are spacious and invite children to play, as do the functional rooms. The kindergarten works according to an open concept and extends over two floors, so that there is always movement at play here too. The multifunctional room offers a special challenge with a large tube slide and a plateau almost 4 meters high.

The Vorsfelde Children's and Family Center (KiFa) is located on Carl-Grete-Straße in the Vorsfelde district. Up to 155 children between the ages of 1 and 6 attend the center.

Healthy and fit

Healthy eating is one of the focal points of the program and is reflected in the use of mostly organic products at mealtimes. Nutritional education plays a special role in everyday life at KiFa Vorsfelde. Movement as a further focus is made possible and promoted through an indoor movement area, water familiarization and psychomotor activities.

KiFa Vorsfelde works actively with parents and offers regular discussions and various opportunities for participation.

The daycare center an der Schunter is located in the middle of the village of Hattorf on the southern, rural outskirts of the city of Wolfsburg. Up to 50 children between the ages of 3 and 6 can attend the facility.

Life in the village is diverse: a lively club and cultural life is traditionally anchored close to home. For example, the sports club, the volunteer fire department, the elementary school, local businesses such as the nursery and cultural associations offer a wide variety of meeting places. In addition, the private living space and the rural location with meadows, floodplains and natural areas that invite discovery form the defining living space of a mature village community. They are the immediate living environment and therefore a place to experience the first steps in development and education. We fit in, are part of and use this for our daily work in the daycare center by exploring the different facets of this rural habitat together with your child.

Our daycare center offers children the opportunity to shape their day with us according to their needs and interests over two floors. The Early Excellence approach with its open concept and the attractively designed functional rooms pave the way for the children to have a variety of self-determined learning and development opportunities. Research
